This week, #ChelseaOnHerWay took me from Columbus to Cincinnati where I met with amazing next gen founders and writers like Mercedes Wallace and Impact Investor Sue Baggott.

There were long stretches of highway, coffee between meetings, conversations that continued long after they were supposed to end, and the kind of unexpected introductions that make you realize why getting out of your usual rooms matters.

I came to Ohio to spend time with women, rising generations, investors, entrepreneurs and people thinking about what comes next.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I was asking a different question than the one I arrived with.

I wasn't as interested in what the next generation needs as I was in what they are already making.

Because everywhere I went, women were making things happen.

Writing. Investing. Launching companies. Creating opportunities. Building communities. Taking what life had handed them and deciding what to do with it.

Over lunch, I met Mercedes Wallace, Founder and CEO of June's Room.

She launched June after losing her father and then her grandmother just two weeks apart.

Think about that for a moment.

Mujeres al frente del debate, abriendo caminos hacia un diálogo más inclusivo y equitativo. Aquí, la diversidad de pensamiento y la representación equitativa en los distintos sectores, no son meros ideales; son el corazón de nuestra comunidad.
